WIFT International, a network of over 10,000 women working in the screen industry around the world.
Since starting out in the New Zealand film and television industry just four years ago, Rachel has contributed to a huge range of projects in a variety of roles, this year producing Fog, a short film that premiered at Cannes.
Rachel has worked on documentaries, feature films and shorts, drama, comedy and factual television in roles of writer, producer, series producer and Executive Producer. Diverse projects range from series producing The Lion Man, to associate-producing and writing arts documentary Colin McCahon: I AM which won Best NZ Documentary at the Qantas Television Awards in 2005.
Rachel formed Maxim Films with Angela Littlejohn in 2004, which they are now preparing to sell to a large production company.
Rachel is currently producing her first feature Apron Strings for director Sima Urale, which starts shooting in a month. She has a second feature Show of Hands by writer/ director Anthony McCarten going into production later in the year.
