
WIFT Auckland, Women in Film and Televison (Auckland) Incorporated is a professional association for women in the film and television industry.
Incorporated in 1995, WIFT aims to provide an opportunity for women to share common concerns and extend their professional interest through information and career support for members and educational development forums, promote and safeguard the interests of women in the industry, champion women’s achievements in television and film and support the industry as a whole. WIFT auckland keeps you up to date with the latest news [0]. We provide opportunities for women new to the industry and studying through our internship scheme [0] and also for women already established and looking to take the next step, we offer a mentoring programme [0]. We celebrate the achievements of top women in the NZ screen industry through our annual awards [0]. WIFT Auckland is active in the areas of lobbying and research [0].

Women in Film & Television (WIFT) in New Zealand consists of two separate organizations, WIFT Auckland and WIFT Wellington [1], who have a mutually cooperative relationship.
