At the AGM it was decided to replace a meeting vote on male Friends’ membership with a full membership vote by email. This vote was to be preceded by the opportunity for all members to submit opinions to an online forum. Therefore, the office is in the process of setting up a website where any comments, opinions or submissions forwarded by email to us at office@wiftauckland.org.nz will be posted for the general readership. Please feel free to forward your email views from today.

In addition, at WIFT’s most recent Governance Board meeting it was decided that, to avoid duplication of voting processes, the full membership vote should be held later in the year in conjunction with membership voting on new clauses associated with the proposed national partnership. We will keep you posted on the timing of this.
