Geoff Evans, co-owner of post-production company Images & Sound, died during the recent King of the Bays swim in Auckland (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/1/story.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10505296).
Geoff worked alongside many WIFT members and WIFT Auckland sends sincere condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
Says Images & Sounds’ Steve Finnigan, "Our immediate thoughts are with Geoff's family – we are doing all we can to support them, as well as Images and Sound staff for whom this has come as a severe shock.
"I’d like to add how blown away we all are by the messages of support and flowers that have been received from the industry."
Onfilm intends to publish an obituary for Geoff in its May issue.
